PrestaShop version number
PrestaShop version number is next to the E-Commerce logo in the upper left corner. It is shown in all back office pages.
Explanation of the version number
Version numbers are based on Major, Minor and Patch. The first two version numbers show Major - Incompatible API changes are made. The third number shows Minor - Functionality is added in a backward-compatible manner. The fourth number shows Patch - Backward-compatible bug fixes are made. PrestaShop version update
PrestaShop version can be updated in Dashboard page in PrestaShop Update block. This block is the right side of page and has these elements:
Update icon - next to block title.
Title - PrestaShop Update on top of block.
Notification - You can update to PrestaShop x ( x means number of latest version).
Download now button - CTA button (Buttons outline UI kit) once clicked opens in new window 1-Click Upgrade Module page in PrestaShop Addons marketplace. This module allows upgrade to the latest version of PrestaShop in a few clicks.
Scroll bar - a vertical scroll bar that helps to scroll the block up and down.
